| Wheelchair: | Grace Church offers a degree of accessibility that is manageable for some people in wheelchairs. There is street parking with one designated space, and a rather long path of travel to the west side door involving a ramp that is slightly steeper than standard. The side entrance door is difficult to operate, and there are narrow pairs of interior doors to the church, parish house and larger meeting hall. Almost any pew in the center section can be slid to the side to make a wheelchair position next to the center aisle, but you will need to ask the ushers to do it. The communion rail is accessible. Except for the narrow doors, the coffee hour, parish offices and meeting rooms are accessible, and there are accessible restrooms. |
