Parish Descriptions
Here is information on the features at each parish that may make participation easier.
Descriptions that begin "The parish reports" are based on responses to the Bishops' Survey in 2001 and 2002.

Descriptions that begin "(Name of parish) provides" are based on visits by architects on behalf of the Diocesan Committee on Accessibility. Terms in these descriptions like "steep", "narrow" and "higher than standard" are comparisons with CABO/ANSI A117.1 American National Standard - Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities.

In both types of descriptions, if a particular feature of accessibility is not mentioned, it is believed not to exist.

You may search for parish information by three routes:

  1. By type of disability:
  2. By location in the Diocese:
  3. Alphabetically by name of parish
